I first met dr.thomas i had a ruptured colon due to diverticulitus and she saved my life. Worked with me in every way she could to keep me comfortable. 7 1/2 years later she does my reversal surgery and gave me a new lease on life .Dr.thomas is awesome she even called to find out how i was doing days after the surgery right before she had to get on a plane .This is a truely compassionate woman about people and her job!!!!

Dr. Thomas made every effort to speak to me on my level. My recovery has gone very well. Perhaps, it's just me but I have had very little pain post op. She must have been very gentle during my surgery. She gave me expectations concerning the activity I should engage in, and all has gone better than any of the three previous major surgeries I have had. It is said, "making it through surgery is dependent on your anesthesia Doctor, but how well your recovery goes depends on your Surgeon. "

She saved me from Pancreatic Cancer. I may be bed bound now, but I should be dead. I am one of the rare people to survive Pancreatic Cancer, and it is due to her excellence as a physician and surgeon. She even visited me at Christmas, when she knew I was alone. She is a wonderful doctor and person. You would be lucky to have her.
