I took my 2-month-old daughter to see Dr. Kim to get her severe tongue tie evaluated and possibly clipped. Was hugely impressed by the whole operation. Easy online paperwork (better than having to fill it out in person), no wait at the office, and then Dr. Kim was incredibly thorough and thoughtful, in the questions she asked and the explanations she offered. We never felt pushed to do anything; Dr Kim just laid out all the facts in front of us and talked us through our options. When we decided to get the clipping done, Dr Kim and her staff moved with incredible speed and care. We were really dreading this procedure but are so glad we went through with it, and at this practice specifically! Highly recommend!

Great ENT! Immediately diagnosed my issue and was glad to answer all my questions. She made sure to clarify any details of my surgery and helped me feel comfortable about getting it. During my recovery, she called me back quickly to address my concerns.

i am so appreciative of dr. kim and lucky i went to see her. i had sore throats constantly for years, and other ent's had treated me with antibiotics, allergy medicine, and nose sprays that never gave me a lasting solution. dr. kim was the first doctor i'd seen to suggest that my tonsils might be the issue (i guess they looked unremarkable but can still sometimes cause problems). after many consultations we decided to take my tonsils out, and my quality of life has proved so much! the surgery went well and i rarely have sore throats anymore. dr. kim was always very honest, direct, and to the point. she was always available when i had questions, and her medical assistant was wonderful too -- very quick to answer e-mails, and very friendly and informed of what was going on.

I had severely impacted ear wax, ringing in my ears and and no insurance. Bummed, I searched high and low to find someone in the Bay Area who would care enough to help me and then gave up from dealing with one too many rude, uncaring receptionists. So time went by and I just accepted that I would have to deal with this condition and vowed to never use a Q tip ever again. My loving daughter wouldn't give up and found Dr Theresa Kim, with San Francisco Otolaryngology, who has many great reviews on Yelp. She called and the receptionists were very nice and said they could totally help. We went in today hoping to meet Dr Kim but she was in another office so we ended up seeing a sweet woman who would have done a hearing test on me, but discovered I had more wax than she'd seen packed deeply inside my ear canal. We had a nice chat and found her to be so sweet and warm, totally caring. We then went to a little exam room with a lovely view of the city and waited for a few minutes. Then a smiling face entered the room, Dr Gerald Kangelaris. What an incredibly KIND person. He evaluated my ears and then went to work, cared about my comfort level and just brought back my hearing with a smile and such warmth, and on top of it all, it didn't cost me a fortune. I'm so thankful and happy my daughter was led to this office with the help of Yelp reviewers and although we didn't see Dr Kim, we were overjoyed with the care of everyone else we met in this office. It may not sound like much to some, but without insurance, a lot of doctors don't want to deal with you, encouraging you to go elsewhere and offering no help. These doctors are specialists too so you know you're in the best hands. Bravo to you and especially you, Dr. Kangelaris!! And Yelpers, you helped too, thank you!

great!!!!! I have been seeing Dr. Kim for over 10 years for meniere’s disease. She is thoughtful and thorough. I trust her judgment. Also she is a pleasure to talk to, and she has a dog.

I've been seeing Dr. Kim for my sinus issues and just this week had a surgery on them. She has been so amazing and responsive to my calls asking questions in the days following. She seems to be really up to date on the latest and greatest tecniques for care and procedure and taking care of the details herself, as well as doing things she says she going to do. I recommend her highly!

DR KIM! is the best and most wonderufl nose dr in the world . She did exactly what she said and it went without one problem, The hospital was amazing and all the stuff, and the turbinate reduction i was so happy to have done and when it was done and all over no bruse ,soreness or anything , I followed the care instructions to the tea and they even called the day after making sure things were great! If you even have a problem she is the lady to go to,,, I can now breath all night long and smell like never before WOW total difference in my life!!!Randy scorpio Moore

Dr. Kim was referred by my GP, who's never steered me wrong. In our encounter, Dr. Kim was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and compassionate -- just what I want in a doctor. Recommend.

When the following things occur, it's a sign to see Dr. Kim ASAP:-Falling asleep on people in an airplane and snoring loudly next to them-Sleepwalking to chat with roommates and waking up a lot-Having insomnia and being awake at12-2am listening to music and on Facebook-Falling asleep on your computer at work-Out of breath when barely 10 min on an elliptical I was told by the light sleepers I snored like a chainsaw and the heavy ones that they didn't notice anything. How was I to know I had anything? My brother recommended Dr. Kim and said she was very good.I decide to go and the office is in a good location, one block from Union Square. She was super helpful, explained everything in uttermost detail, and told me I should make an appointment to do a sleep study. With my insurance it was about $40 to check my ears, nose, and throat. I found out a lot of stuff I didn't know I had until she checked me. She checks up on me every four months and is always so nice. I definitely recommend her!
