Excellent NeuroSurgeon!! He removed a Glioblastoma tumor Grade IV.
Removed a tumor in 2017, was great when I met him and ever since. Very personable and very knowledgeable. Probably the best doctor I’ve ever used!
I was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in September of 2012. My first time ever in a hospital. Then he walked in!! He told me I have a mass in the pineal region...I had the surgery and 3 yes later I still suffer from intense headaches and leg pain. But at least I'm still here to type this.Thanksgiving you Dr Guth.U saved my life man!!
Excellent doctor he took excellent care of me before, during, and after my surgery, will never forget him! He is very thorough, along with great bedside manners. Grateful he was my surgeon, others spoke highly about him while I was there, and it all proved to be true!
Dr. Guthikonda removed a benign brain tumor from my mother's head over 2 weeks ago. He is a very likeable Dr and took the time to really talk to us. We feel like her surgery and recovery has gone extremely well and we are very grateful to have found this doctor. He took great care of her and we have heard nothing but praise about him from others, including nurses at his LSU hospital.
The doctor time is valuable however, he do not consider the time of the rest of the people. Broken chair on his waiting room, waiting room time one and a half hour plus 45 more minutes on naked examination table. No vitals taken, no BP. No answer to phone calls, you have to talk to machines, and no one call you back. Very disorganized! I will never bring my son to such called a doctor!
spent less than 2 minutes at bedside and offered no information other than saying a tumor caused CVA..not personable and no empathy for family or patient. arrogant
3 years later I'm hurting bad. A few months after surgery I complained about severe pain. They gave me an MRI with contrast then sent me home highly medicated with no results. Once I came to my senses I call several timesbut never got an answer nor they returned my messages. Went to another doctor only to find out they were affiliated with each other so wasn't nothing I could do. All I'm saying is if you are thinking about having spinal surgery take it from me let it be your last option. Haven't worked a day since. Nothing but pain in lower back every time I move plus pain that sits in my foot non stop. If you pinch me in certain spots on my leg I won't feel it. Wasn't having these problems before the surgery.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
