I’ve been undergoing treatment for lower back injury at Doctor Hung's office for almost a year and half now. Dr. Hung has always provided me with the best treatment and advice. He listens carefully, he cares, and he gives you the best of his experience to make you feel better.The recent epidural shots he recommended for my back to check if we can avoid the back surgery have been effective, and I have been feeling much better since then!He is a great Doctor and my experience with him and his office representative is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’m so thankful for everything they did for me since day one of my injury until today!

I've seen Dr. Hung multiple times for multiple issues and have nothing but positive feedback on my experiences. He is very thoughtful, takes the time to explain exactly how he is thinking about a problem, responds to any and all questions, is open-minded, and is extremely compassionate. He is also very good at explaining the boundaries of what he may be able to accomplish and sensibly refers to other specialists as needed. My recent visit to Dr. Joseph Hung was tremendously positive and helpful. It began with an in-depth intake on the phone with Bernadette, his assistant, where a deep level of interest in my symptoms and concerns was conveyed. They I came in for my appointment, and Dr. Hung spent considerable time with me, listened carefully to all my questions and concerns, examined me thoroughly, reflected deeply and truly made an effort to understand my perspective and include me as a partner in my own healing. I felt his approach was very comprehensive, looking at a wide range of causes and possibilities, and the treatment plan we came up with was very effective. It was an outstanding experience and I would recommend him very highly. Thank you.

I am blessed to have found Dr. Hung, his assistant Bernadette, and his team of highly qualified and empathetic nurses. I developed severe arthritis in my cervical spine, and have experienced continual chronic pain for the past seven months. I was miserable. Dr. Hung has successfully diagnosed and treated my issue with a series of injections, and I am well on my way to resuming a normal life. I could list all of the wonderful attributes I read in the other five star reviews before I began to write this. There is no need. They are ALL true. He is the best. I would not even consider seeing anyone else. If you are in pain, frightened, and don't know what to do or where to turn, you have found the answer.

I met Dr. Hung after 3 months of changing and traveling pain and many doctors. No one could diagnose or explain my pain. Dr. Hung attentively listened to my history. He ordered an MRI and within days had me return to his office for a cortisone shot. Hours after performing the injection, Dr. Hung called to inquire as to the affect, if any, of the injection. When I reported that I’d had no relief from my pain, Dr. Hung asked if he could bring another colleague in for a different perspective, as he was a little baffled by my symptoms. He recommended Dr. Karen Sutton. Also of HSS.I was seen within the week by Dr. Sutton. She reviewed my history, my multiple xrays and MRIs. She too patiently listened to my retelling of my developing pain. She was aware of Dr. Hung’s treatment. She took a different tact and ordered 4 different tests from those I’d had before. She discovered that I was suffering from endofibrosis of the iliac artery. Within 24 hours, she found a vascular surgeon who could remedy my condition. Two weeks later, I had successful Iliofemoral bypass surgery.I am forever grateful to Dr. Hung for his kindness and professionalism; he wanted nothing but to help me, even if it meant that it wasn’t he who could solve the problem.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Hung. He listened to my complaints and offered explanations about the proposed treatment that were easily understood. Pre and post procedure consultations were never rushed. Most importantly, my pain was dramatically reduced.

Dr Hung and his staff were outstanding. They identified my problem and performed the procedure without any issues. Highly professional at all levels and at all times. I would recommend him to anyone.

I've had many procedures done by Dr. Hung and to me he is one of the top doctors out there. I have gone to other doctors for pain management and none of them have been as skilled or as caring as Dr. Hung. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. We have to drive 45 minutes to see him, but he is totally worth the drive and always does whatever he can to take care of me and ease my pain. He even calls me back as soon as he can whenever I reach out to his office with a concern. I very much appreciate him and his attention to detail.

My experience with Dr. Hung has been absolutely fantastic. He constantly expressed a deep concern for my well being and a very strong desire to alleviate my pain. He thoroughly discussed with me all the options and their pros and cons with us settling on a cervical epidural injection. I have had many epidurals in my lower back and am very familiar with the process. However, the cervical injection is much more complicated and Dr. Hung and his team performed perfectly. Any concerns I had were very quickly dispelled and now more than two weeks since the procedure I am not feeling any pain at all. I cannot recommend Dr. Hung more highly.
