My father was an exemplary physician, globally recognized for his brilliant mind, profound medical knowlege, procedural excellence, and impeccable surgical skills. For all of my 84 years, I held him in the highest of professional esteem and believed that no one had been, was, or ever would be his peer. But then I met Dr. Edward Humbert, and all that changed! Founder of the Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida, located in Fort Myers, and one of the nation's premier total knee and hip replacement surgeons, Dr. Humbert recently (Jan., 2023) performed his wizardry (full hip) on my 84 year old frail and osteoporotic wife. The results speak for themselves. Sub-30 minutes from incision to suturing, transfusion-less and now, five weeks later, having experienced no post-surgical issues or problems, my wife is fully mobile and functioning, Dr. Humbert is a medical genius, an artist who paints with a scalpel as Rembrandt did with his brushes and oils. Move over, Dad. I have found your equal!

I would highly recommend Dr. Humbert Jr. as he was recommended to me by one of his long-standing patients. The office staff was fabulous. The doctor was very quick to get to the bottom of my hip pain issues. He was very caring.

Dr. Humbert was great with his diagnosis. However, the MALE NURSE didn't apply an anesthetic prior to shoving a 4-inch needle into my knee. I nearly jumped off of the table. I'll guarantee that if I need a retreatment - he won't do that again!! Sep 29, 2021 8:05 a.m.

Dr. Humbert offered me choices with my knee problems. He did not push surgery, only offered possibilities. He answered all my questions and left all decisions up to me. I like having my options explained and he did exactly that.

I had a total knee replacement on July 15, 2021 I can say this about Dr Humbert he is the best and he has a great surgical team by far. I also had PT at his office 4 weeks out from my surgery I asked to have Nicky Wesley as my therapist I went for 18 sessions and she really help me to get my knee strong to where I felt very comfortable on my own she was fabulous but she also has a great team behind her for sure. Thank you Joint Implant Surgeons for all you do for people young and old.. Please let Nicky Wesley and her team know they do a great job everyday.

great experience.staff was efficient and Pleasant. Dr. Humbert was very informative,increasing my confidence.

Leeann was my P.A. And she was great. Showing and explaining my X-Rays and explaining the surgery that would fix it. Received my cortizone shot also !
