Dr. Matthews and his entire team are beyond excellent. I ended up with a 90% blocked carotid artery and from my first visit to my surgery was just a matter of a few days. There was no question unanswered and all my concerns were addressed--I never felt rushed. I would highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Matthews and his team. Awesome people!

Dr. Matthews was terrific on the day of my procedure, taking the time to explain what he was doing and answering my questions as he went. He showed me what he was seeing on the Sonagram and was quick and efficient. The day after was exactly as he described, and recovery will be very quick. I heartily recommend Dr. Matthews to anyone needing a Vascular Surgeon.

Great experience with Dr. Matthews and his staff with regards to my vein disease. The team is efficient and I have full confidence in their work. I have had two procedures done and have a couple more. Would recommend to anyone with vascular or vein problems.

I saw Dr Matthews originally 3 months ago and he suggested I try compression hose to help the blood flow in my leg. He said if it didn't work, he might have to place stints to assist blood from. I saw him again yesterday and he thought the hose were working for right now, and suggested that I follow up in 3-6 months. Being a surgeon, he could have easily suggested the stints, but I appreciate the conservative approach.
