These folks are professional, kind, and efficient. I didn't go to the dentist for YEARS until I found Big Smile, and now I actually go every 6 months like a real grown up! They make the whole process easy and enjoyable. I needed a filling (always floss, people), and they were able to do it an hour later. Fantastic.

As luck would have it, I lost a filling in the back of my mouth while my usual dentist was out of town. He was scheduled to remain out of town for several weeks, in fact. Never lost a filling before, so I was alarmed and also concerned the area might develop an infection or further deteriorate. Searched "emergency dental" and called several offices hoping for weeknight or Saturday availability given that I don't have flexibility with my current work situation, and luckily Big Smile Dental squeezed me in for Saturday morning. The experience was pure professionalism, from start to finish. I was in and out of the office within an hour--in that span, I did new-patient "paperwork" (all digital) and they took X-rays and pictures of my tooth, conducted an exam limited to that area, and did thorough work of putting in a composite (tooth-colored) filling. I appreciated that a member of the desk staff provided me with an outline of costs I could expect given the potential scenarios for this tooth. I agreed to have the tooth filled immediately. And as it turns out, there was no need for a crown buildup after all, so that was to my benefit from a financial standpoint.Thanks so much for accommodating me, Big Smile Dental! I was really pleased with my experience and won't hesitate to call again.PS: Those of you who have dental-procedure anxiety would like Lucy, the hygienist at my appointment. She worked really well with the doctor and was super kind and bubbly enough to calm any nerves you might have about your procedure. ^_^PPS: Very easily accessible via public transit, my fellow city mice.
