Dr. Peter Lio's Online Review Report Card

After going to 5 different Derm Docs we finally met someone that understands you should not lather up an infant with corticosteroids and hope that side effects are temporary or hope that the infant wont have an issues. Instead, Dr. Lio took a few steps back, learned the history and actually diagnosed our infant with full regards and anticipation of early child development. He recommended a well thought out 30-60-90 day plan with the utmost care and managed to completely bring comfort and longevity my child. It only took going to 5 different doctors and constant trials to find the right direction with Dr Lio. I can not thank this doctor and his team enough for being affectionate, caring and look forward to the hour drive each way to his practice as every second is worth the time and comfort for my child. Went to three different health systems and all recommended steroidal cream “x” amount of times a day and follow up in 3 months......Saw Dr Lio decided that instead of going the general route let’s strategize, identify and rectify. (My words not his😂) but nonetheless, we came out with understanding flares, being offensive being defensive. My son now beat eczema and we are back to regular creams There are still flare ups but it’s very rare.Thanks Dr. Lio!!

I went to about three other Dermatologists in Chicago seeking treatment for my eczema over a two year period & nothing seemed to work. I finally discovered Dr. Lio in 2018 and he changed my life. He introduced me to new skincare products I was previously unfamiliar with & prescribed a mixture of medicine, which was different from the prior Dermatologists. He was the only physician that truly helped. I would recommend Dr. Lio for anyone struggling with eczema.

We saw Dr. Lio today for my 3 year old daughter. He is absolutely the nicest most thorough doctor! He is adorable with kids and it's so rate to find a Derm that has a good bedside manner and doesn't make you feel rushed! I even asked him if he could take a look at a mole I had so I didn't have to schedule another appt to come back, and he did! He's THE BEST!! I never ever take time to write reviews on doctors but he is worth it!

My son was born with really bad eczema. My wife and I tried about evrything and went everywhere possible to get help for our son's eczema. It got to the point were water would form ontop of the redness of his face and he had it all over his body. We were going crazy with all the creams,lotions and procedures we had to give our son and they didn't even work! We finally visit Dr. Lio's office it was very quick but yet very informative and helpful. It seemed like he knew exactly what to give our son as soon as he saw him. A day after we use what he had subscribe to our son his eczema went away!!! It was a miracle! Dr. Lio is AMAZING!!! WE THANK HIM SO MUCH FOR HELPING OUR SON!!!

I took my mother here after a year of suffering with severe eczema. Dr. Lio knew exactly what was wrong with her and within 2months her eczema cleared. We have been with Dr. Lio for over a year and love him. I will never take my mother back to Rush dermatology. Thank you Dr. Lio.

Dr. Lio is an extraordinary physician and a consummate professional. I have been to many physicians over the years and Dr. Lio is the best. He has a genuine friendliness and superb bedside manner. Really second to none. He listens to your concerns and addresses your questions. He is a very passionate doctor as well and is an expert in the treatment of more difficult skin conditions. Very much rises to the challenge. Cannot say enough good things! Exceptional all around.

ALL PRAISE BE TO DR. LIO! Dr. Lio saved my skin and my mental health. I suffer from pretty bad eczema – more than one dermo has told me its the worst they've ever seen. And because it's pretty severe, I've seen a lot of dermatologists in the course of my life. Dr. Peter Lio is EASILY the best. Within a few weeks of following his care plan, my eczema was in remission. It's been two years with only mild flare-ups when the season change. His innovative AND EFFECTIVE treatment is matched only by his kind and caring bedside manner.
