Full Moon is such a treat to the Hampden community. The owner, Martha, is an expert on all things acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I absolutely love getting treatment with her and also attending the pop up events she hosts. Definitely visit if you are in Baltimore!
Martha provides acupuncture with such care, wisdom, and sensitivity. Highly highly recommend!
The best !!!! Go and be delighted by Martha’s talent and expertise!
There aren’t enough words to describe the experience of working with Martha. She is truly a hug of a human. Every interacting is so thoughtful, calming and grounding. After just a few sessions with her I felt immensely better and so supported. If you’re thinking about meeting with her, don’t hesitate! Thank you for everything, Martha!
Martha has cultivated such a warm and welcoming environment for people who seek to be in better touch with their bodies and minds and communities. I've gone to Full Moon for acupuncture, and I've also completed one of the Renewal programs as well as the Roots & Rituals program. Martha is so well versed in Eastern medicine and herbs, and she takes great care to share her knowledge with you so that you can adopt some or all the ideas in your day-to-day. She's also just very in tune with herself and you. She's engaged and inquisitive and thoughtful. Every time I work with Martha, I come away knowing something new and something helpful. It's always a positive reset. I really couldn't recommend her practice more.
Martha's space was inviting both aesthetically and emotionally. Her warm and curious manner while going over my medical history informed my basis of trust for the process. She had a light touch and described what she was doing at each step. She followed up with a written summary and suggestions of ways to track and support the freedoms the therapy provides.
I am very grateful for Martha - I've been seeing her for a few years for a variety of health needs. She addresses them in deep and holistic way that western medicine does not. She is my "go to" advisor. Highly recommend.
I am going through a huge life change of dismantling 27 years of a marriage. People were asking if I was going to see a therapist, but I knew this required something so much deeper than talk therapy. I was on the cusp of a very deep cosmic and literal shift of change. A shifting that necessitated the dying off to allow for the new. Martha's lifelong knowledge of Chinese medicine, healing, and spirit plus her profound ability to empathize helped me cross the threshold into my new life. I hesitate to call it coaching, because it is spiritual and deep and loving and supportive and everything I needed each day I arrived at the doorway of Full Moon. Thank you Martha.
My experience at Full Moon Acupuncture.. First I want to say that taking care of myself is a challenge and that feels strange to put out there ~ it's relevant for a few reasons. There are affordable ways to do this at Full Moon Acupuncture ~ merely visiting the store and coming home with a new stone or cream is caring, going to an open house full of local artists work and people, there are a variety of treatments and classes ranging from free to more. I love the Renewal and this time could do the self paced. There was an early bird registration and it includes 4 conversations and 4 NADA treatments. Over time I'm able to receive treatment and coaching around daily and situational things about the way I live that I might want to shift. Everything is tangible ~ so I leave with work to do and support when I other things get in my way. I've been a customer for over a decade, well supported and so thankful.
Martha is one of the best acupuncturist I've seen. She really knows how to get a the root cause of whatever issue is plaguing one, and has the best bedside manner ever - I'd highly recommend her for anyone trying to get pregnant, postpartum concerns, muscle concerns as well as dietary concerns.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
