Dr. Olson has now retired. He is missed !!

The only thing even negative at all about this Dr. is he is so sought after that my appt's were cancelled and rescheduled a minimum of 6 times...which in the long run ended up being a good thing because a lot of my symptoms returned 3 months post fossa decompression surgery for Chiari 1 and a syrinx and laminectomy in the upper cervical area. But, after so much worry about my syrinx growing or my brain falling further in to the spinal area my MRI a couple weeks ago showed the syrinx had totally disappeared and my brain looked fabulous..CFI circulating just how it was supposed to. My question to him was, then why do I still have trouble swallowing at times and these electric shocks in my head and numbness of my hands and feet and invisible bugs biting me and really bad sweats and chills? Not sure what it was but he prescribed a drug called Neuronton and low and behold other than occasional problems swallowing and the sweats when prone I feel fabulous...really. I can still feel the electric shocks going on but they don't cause pain...sometimes if I touch my skin where I've felt them it feels bruised even...I recommend this man he pretty much saved my life..Denise Lictawa

Dear Dr. Olson, I sent a note to your practice but it was returned as non deliverable and all attempts to contact you have failed; so I hope you're doing well and just maybe will get a chance to read this. Twenty years ago you operated on my spine to remove a cyst that caused me terrible pain. I'm happy to say that 20 years later I'm doing better than ever with absolutely no pain in my lower back! I think about you every October and how you changed my life for the better. I thank the Lord often that you restored my well being. Thank you and God bless! Joe Dyament

Dr Olson removed a malignant tumor from my son's brain. It had hemmoraged, which further complicated the surgery. We have worked with many oncologists since then who all reference the brilliance and success of the surgery as a major factor for their optimism for my son' prognosis. We could not be more grateful or pleased in regard to his surgery. Besides obviously being highly skilled and experienced, Dr Olson was very kind and patient with us. We highly recommend him without any hesitation.

Dr. Olson performed craniotomies on me in 2011 and 2012. I am grateful for his skill and attention to detail that has left me a survivor. He put extra effort into my first surgery to avoid possible career-ending damage. His diligence saw me return to work in 5 weeks.. in 2012, he adeptly removed all remaining fringe tumor growth. Additionally, when I arrived for prescheduled testing to be told I had been scheduled on the wrong day, his staff contacted him and Dr. Olson still accommodated me.
