Dr. Soo has done 2 small surgerys and one major surgery on my lumbar area. He corrected what another doctor did on my back about 8 years ago. I have some minor issues which we’re work on but as a surgeon he is the best. I recommend him to everyone that says they have back trouble. I know several people who have had him for a surgeon and have said they would have no one else touch their backs. He is great. He explains everything to his patients, lets them see the MRI’S, Cat Scans, and/or X-rays of their problem. As a person he has a great sense of humor, loves to joke around and is very understanding to his patients.

Very good at serious neck and back surg. Explained clearly and seemed concerned. No problems during or after the procedure. I have already given his name to 3 other people.

Doctor Soo was straight forward and honest. I had a laminectomy L4-L5 fusion without hesitation. 32 days post op. I have been walking for weeks. Walked an hour at the gym yesterday. My feet face forward now and my digestion has improved! No more leg pain! :)

His training of Neurological students brings extra knowledge, insight & perspectives to any medical condition. My rating comes as a result of ER/mandatory surgery where I had less than 24 hours to evaluate his skills in spite of my active working presence within health care.

My husband has undergone 6 back surgeries, each difficult, complex and out of the box. After the first two surgeries by another neurosurgeon failed, Dr. Soo has used his considerable experise to put my husband back together. He understands quality of life, he is compassionate and kind...has called us out of the blue to check on my husband, seen us in his office at 8 o'clock at night on an emergency basis and scheduled emergency surgery in less than 24 hours. He is simply the best. Sometimes there's a long wait to see him but that's because he spends time with every patient. His care is worth any wait. There's a reason his surgery success rate is far above other neurosurgeons.

I am convinced after having had surgery on my back by Dr. Tek M. Soo, he is one of the best neurosurgeons in his field. He is patient, knowledgeable and kind. His expertise is unmatched and it is very evident that he truly cares about his patients. I am very grateful for his services and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs neurosurgery.

Doctor Soo does an outstanding job. He diagnosed my problem quickly and two weeks later did the surgery. I had a Cervical Laminectomy from C3 to C7 and Fusion from C2 to T1. No surgical complications and no recovery complications. It's been 9 months and I feel very good. Excellent doctor who explains things clearly and seems to truly care about how you are doing.

Dr. Teck-Mun. Soo performed an SI Joint Fusion on my Right SI Joint March 1, 2017. Dr. Soo was the the Doctor that correctly diagnosed my injury when previous first Opinion was that Stenosis in my lower lumbar region was the case of my pain. Dr. Soo and His Team performed this Surgery and I am now home and recovering. I highly recommend Dr. Soo for Neurological evaluation and any necessary surgery you may need

March 17, 2017, I couldn’t get out of bed. I heard a voice say put your right hand on the bed post and rise. After several attempts, I was able to get out of the bed. I went to the bathroom, when trying to brush my teeth, I couldn’t raise my arms pass my waist. I ended up in the ER of Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. I dropped a pen; I couldn’t bend down to pick it up. The following Sunday, while in the hospital, someone came to see me, telling me that my C3 & C4 vertebrae’s had broken off into my spinal cord and I needed to have surgery. He said, the surgery could be a success; or not (death), or I could be a vegetable. I have been a member of WORD OF FAITH INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN CENTER since the early 90’s. Nothing but the word of God is taught. However, I was diagnosed with something that there is NO CURE and my faith was in limbo! Anyway, this man came back to my room and said, oh, there is one other option…you can have pain management for the rest of your life with risking being totally paralyzed by the simplest thing of a stumble. I told him I wasn’t making any decision without meeting the surgeon. I prayed that night and also told the Lord that being a vegetable IS NOT AN OPTION!! The next morning, in walks this funny man with others all dressed in scrubs. “DR. SOO” I had the surgery. On my follow up appointment, Dr. Soo, entered the room, asked me how I was feeling. He looked at me and Said, “You were paralyzed from the neck to waist, “BUT YOU ALL FIXED NOW. “ (I thought I just had crook in my neck and a torn rotator cuff) I had many Doctors in my lifetime, several were ignorant, no bed side manners & etc. I have not ever, in my life, met such an amazing Doctor like Dr. Soo! He is selfless, and takes on no reputation! He doesn’t take any credit at all! He says, stuff like, ah me? Oh, I am NOTHING! He brings laughter when I want to cry and God’s word says, a Merry Heart Do It Good like MEDICINE!!! Since my surgery, I have heard so many good things about Dr. Soo!! One Doctor called him a Magician! Yet Dr. Soo denies himself, totally amazing!! I am turning my neck, bending backwards & forwards, raising my arms and using my hands! Also, I have lab reports from this surgery, and there is NO INDICATION WHATSOEVER OF THAT INCURABLE DISEASE!!! (I KNOW THIS IS NO ONE BUT GOD) I truly thank God for you, Dr. Soo and Bishop Butler & Family!! WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! I am expecting more of the impossible being possible! Thank you, again Dr. Soo!
