I have been a patient of Dr Spellman for roughly 3 years or so. First, and foremost he is friendly, funny, and has great bedside manner and always makes me feel comfortable and confident that things are or or will be alright. When I meet with him he I never feel rushed and he always listens to what I have to say and gives me options if they are needed. His assistant is also great and understands my concerns as well. I was having some issues recently and Dr Spellman recommended a procedure that has made my everyday life a lot better. After the procedure I was having some issues and he came back to the hospital that evening to check on me. I needed additional attention and he took care of that the next day. I was released from the hospital the following day (Sunday) and he told me to be in his office at 7:00 Tuesday morning just so he could check and make sure all was well. A month later I was having some minor issues concerning the same procedure and I called his office on a Friday at 2:00 and spoke with his assistant. She immediately talked to Dr Spellman and I was able to see him an hour later at which time he was able to take care of the problem. I will and have recommended him to others that might have similar issues.

Dr. Spellman has always been thorough and clear in communication and extremely knowledgeable. In addition to standard urological care he has recently been my surgeon for radical nephrectomy to remove a cancer tumor which went very well. I was very grateful to have his experience and expertise guiding the hand that held the scalpel.

My husband has been going to Dr. Matt for awhile now. He takes the time to explain everything to the both of us. He is very caring and knowledgeable about what he does. I have recommended him to friends. His second hand girl Carrie is amazing also. I can't say enough good things about them both.
