This will be the second time I have been to the GP Surgery Center both with an excellent result. My first surgery was a total knee replacement and the second one was a total hip replacement (just 2 weeks ago) both outpatient and both done by Dr. Van Horne. You can pre-register online if you want. It is a great alternative to the hospital. You get a pre-op tour of the surgery center, meet your nurse who is the same one from prep to recovery. Everyone cares, from Margie at the front desk, George and Deborah who took great care of me and of course, Dr. Van Horne who takes time to answer your questions and is the best innovative surgeon around in his field. The surgery center takes every precaution to keep you in a safe and heathy environment. It is also less expensive than a hospital. I highly recommend the Grants Pass Surgery Center. Julie Dawson

I had a Hysterectomy Sep 2020 at the Grants Pass Surgery Center. I highly recommend getting your surgery here if you can. The nurses were super friendly. They provided food for my husband and I. I recieved a nice robe after surgery which I was able to keep. We never felt rushed to hurry up and get out like you feel at times when you have something done at the hospital. We had a nice room to ourself with Netflix. I wish I had my gallbladder surgery here instead of rogue valley hospital. Thank you Grants Pass Surgery Center 😊

Everyone was amazingly nice and professional during my stay. I had my first surgery today and everyone helped me through it with such compassion. You really feel well taken care of and valued. I wish I could give them higher than a 5 star rating!
