Avenues welcomed me with open and friendly smiles.. The staff is always willing to help at anytime for anything... The love that is showed to one another and the understanding of each other is unbelievable true... The meaning of loving me till I can love myself at my lowest.... So, this review has been coming for a few months as I wanted to be sure the program stuck. I finished my 30 day program 7 months ago. The stay at Avenues couldn't have been easier or better for me. I was able to reflect and completely disengage from the outside world that I had helped allow me to destroy my life up until that point. My stay, my conversations, my writings, my first-hand listening to others' life stories, and my counselling sessions all helped me to clearly decide and transition into the sober person I am today.A little advice from me is to really engage with the nursing staff, your counselors and definitely your Nurse Practitioner. Let them know how you feel day-to-day. Let them know how the medication is making you feel both mentally and physically. I think it's very important you get to know yourself while you are in this program. Otherwise, you may end up on the same road as when you first came to Avenues. It works if you want it to, it works if you let it. Good luck to anyone who actually reads these reviews and chooses recovery, no matter where or how you decide to do it.

Ive been to 6 treatment centers before I chose avenues...I should have came here years ago! They have the most helpful an caring staff!!

This unique treatment facility offers a laid back system in contrast to other treatment centers. The staff have walked in your shoes, giving a broader sense of mutual compassion, understanding, and most importantly respect. Avenues Recovery saved me. I was broken, hopeless, self-centered, 9 months pregnant and so deeply lost in addiction. I was desperately searching for anywhere to take me as soon as possible, they were the first place that answered my prayers and I couldn’t have been more lucky. It was one week after hurricane Ida, they didn’t even have power yet at their main building but they were still ready to take people in and give them a fighting chance at sobriety. I love the staff here, they were so understanding, welcoming, caring, and honest… I never felt judged or alone at any point in my stay here. They taught me so much about myself and the disease of addiction… I came here to get help getting clean but I left with so so much more than just a sober date… I advise anyone who has the desire to get clean to give this place a chance!!! It saved my life and it’s saving other peoples lives everyday… ❤️ if you’re struggling with addiction or know someone who is … there is still hope, I found it here at avenues and they taught me I’m worth all of the amazing things sober life has to offer.

My experience at avenues was awesome. They taught me so much. My counselor was the best in the world. They took me out this dark place I was in and brought me back to reality. They put my needs first. I never thought I could live a sober life. With the help of a Avenues I found my higher power. I love this place and all they people in it. I highly recommend this facility.

Before I came here I was probably going to die. Now I'm not going to die! Exceptional and caring staff, and good facilities. I honestly can't express enough gratitude for my time here.

My fiancé attended this program and came out with a new sense of life. There hasn’t been a single day him or I haven’t been thankful of the program and the staff. He came out with a new perspective on his life, the life of others, and his mental health, as well as knowledge that he never knew he needed. Avenues truly saved his life. Any spouses out there that need encouragement and kind words, ask for Ashley. I know how hard it can be and she made the transition pleasant for me.

I had the best experience at avenues. It gave me a firm foundation in my recovery. Everyone was so helpful and down to earth. Helga was my counselor and she absolutely changed my life! She helped me see something in myself I didn't know I had. She helped me work through my trauma and I am forever thankful for her and avenues !
