BayCare Medical Group Primary Care II (Carillon)

This is a review for the Imaging Center at BayCare, specifically. As always, I am super-impressed with the kind, patient and extremely helpful staff at the Imaging Center.  Every time I've gone, and today was no exception, they have been phenomenal!  I would never want to go anywhere else for imaging services. In a perfect world, this is how patient care should be delivered, everywhere. Brava!

Can never get an appointment scheduled at a reasonable time.I went in to address serious health concerns and all they can focus on is the fact that I’m overdue for a physical (which they cancelled and were unable to reschedule with me last year).Physicians assistant brings up other major health concerns at appt, requests to see me back in 2 weeks, but front desk schedules me for a month out.

Ridiculous experience. Took the earliest morning appointment at 8AM and fasting for a physical exam. They didn't have any blood test order for me. Okay. I can see the doctor first.After 30 mins waiting. I am confused as I am the first patient, so I asked the reception desk lady if doctor is in. She said yes and then I asked if anyone is ahead of me? Then they found out the lady on the phone all the time didn't pass my paper work to the nurse. I waited 30 mins for nothing. No apology for her mistake. She just told me sit back and wait...Over 1 hour wait for the very first patient of primary care in a day, I don't know how it works here. Is it Baycare or Bay careless?

Please go read comments under PCP, Dr Johnrose Brown. It’ll tell you all you need to know about this facility. People have noted staff complaints that need to be addressed. (Unfortunately, under the physician’s name). They could use better regulation and extensive training on customer friendly service. As a new patient, I really wouldn’t refer anyone to this office. Someone inCorporate has at least returned my call today to document my issues. So Im thankful for that.
