Highly recommended this practice for for your eye surgery needs. I had surgery to repair ptosis of upper right eyelid and I am very pleased with my results. This is the second time I had this surgery, the first was at a different surgeon and the results were underwhelming, and Dr. Zatezalo helped me achieve my desired look and was able to submit through my insurance.

I had canthoplexy performed by Dr. Zatezalo, as well as upper eyelid fillers. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Zatezalo is an exceptional surgeon and he truly cares about his patients. I am grateful to him for performing the procedures with great care and precision and for being so compassionate every step of the way, from the very first consultation to the final post operative follow-up visits. He and his team are extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, and very caring - the best of the best.

Whatever review I can write is not going to do justice for just how talented and wonderful Dr. Zatezalo is. Prior to this eyelid surgery with Dr. Z, I had two eyelid surgeries to correct drooping eyelids. The doctors were reputed to be top surgeons in DC. The result was an awful mess and I was so unhappy. I wasn't sure I would ever look the way I used to. But from the very first visit with Dr. Z, I knew I was in the hands of an exceptionally skilled surgeon. If you have an eye issue, Dr. Z is your doctor. He's unlike so many plastic surgeons in DC/VA/MD. Surgeons all seem to specialize in everything yet are the master of nothing - especially something as specialized as eye lid surgery. I am 2 weeks post-surgery with Dr. Z and my eye lids are perfect! Truly. My eyes are symmetrical, open and youthful. He changed my life. I still can't believe it when I look in the mirror. And if you're nervous, don't be. Go see him. He's so nice and approachable (best listener ever). He will take away any anxiety you're having. I can't believe I found Dr. Z. I am so, so, so happy! I can't believe he was able to fix my eye lids. He's a talent.

A previous eye procedure left my eyes asymmetrical. I had lived with the condition for a number of years, but it was worsening. I started to hate the way I looked in photos, and decided it needed to be addressed. Dr. Z specializes in fixing work done by less skilled surgeons. He performed a procedure that brought my eyes back to a symmetrical shape. The entire experience was smooth. He has a wonderful manner -- very calming. I recommend him unreservedly. BTW, I like the way I look in pictures again!

For the last six or seven years, I have seen Dr. Zatezalo for both cosmetic and medically indicated procedures. He is unequivocally the best there is in his field. If you are having any treatment in and around the eye area, you can trust him to know the best plan of action, based on the latest research and technology. In addition to his high level of professionalism, he is kind and genuinely cares about his patients.

I highly endorse Dr. Zatezalo and his wonderful team. They took great care of me through every step of a surgery that finally helped me see clearly again.

I went to Dr. Zatezalo earlier this year about a trauma-related upper eyelid issue that had been extremely distracting and was reducing my quality of life. I had already undergone several surgeries through my limited HMO, but they were unsuccessful at relieving my discomfort or vision obstruction. I went out of network and consulted with Dr. Zatezalo, and he was knowledgeable and straightforward. He did not make any unrealistic promises, but he was willing to try operating on my eyelid, and I underwent the procedure in March. I'm glad I did, because the swollen sensation has been greatly reduced. Dr. Zatezalo's diagnosis and intervention has made much more difference than the two previous surgeons I saw, and I wish he had been my first choice.

Dr. Z and team were simply amazing! I loved how thorough he was even during the consultation phase. He wanted to make sure everything was on point before proceeding with the surgery. I was even told that if something came up with the CT scan before surgery that he may not move forward. I knew immediately that he deeply cares about his patients and just don’t perform procedures simply because they asked him. The lower blepharoplasty went smoothly. I felt totally fine a week after. The best part is the results were so natural. I look just like myself only 10+ years younger. I highly, highly, highly recommend him!!! The icing on the cake was the friendly staff. Dr. Z is truly one-of-a-kind and an invaluable resource! I spilled boiling hot queso down my face and in my eye one night, and he fit me in the very next day. After a thorough examination, Dr. Z assured me there was no permanent damage done to my eye or face. I recently had my follow-up appointment, and once again I left the visit feeling confident that I received the highest level of care and impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Z and his staff. I could not recommend Dr. Zatezalo more!!!
