At the recommendation of a neighbor, I originally saw Dr. Frank Droworta in August as I was new to Murfreesboro and had been told by my previous opthamologist that I needed to follow up on my cataracts. He confirmed that diagnosis, however, did not pressure me to have surgery. His exact words to me were, "Cataracts are not like tumors which have to be taken out immediately. You can decide when they're bothering you enough to have them removed." I went home and decided to wait since they only bothered me at when riding in our car at night, and I wasn't driving. Over the next few months my vision began deteriorating so I scheduled my surgeries. I had my right cataract removed yesterday and the dressing removed today. I can see so well out of my right eye! I can't wait to have my left cataract surgery on December 4th!
