I have been a patient of Dr. Stein’s for approximately 17 years and have referred numerous family members and friends to him over the years. Dealing with a chronic illness is very difficult at times, but Dr. Stein’s bedside manner, compassion and friendly nature make it a lot easier to feel comfortable contacting his office when needed. It also takes a lot of stress out of office visits. I highly recommend him for anyone experiencing GI issues of any kind.

Even though Dr Stein was running behind, from a case that turned into an emergency, he was very attentive to my case, apologized couple times even. Very knowledgeable, gave clear plan of action and I would whole heartedly recommend him.

Called back to a room for my appointment on time. Dr Stein was patient and knowledgeable, while his staff were friendly and efficient. I'm pleased with my visit. There was a bit of a wait for scheduling a procedure, but the scheduler was also efficient and very pleasant.

Dr. Stein runs a tight ship! His appointments are ON TIME! That said, he is known for being the premier gastroenterologist in the entire Middle Tennessee area. There is a reason for this. Not only is he a well known doctor, he really cares about his patients. I have been seeing him since I was in the hospital a couple of years ago. Since then, he has tracked my health and supported me as I reversed the beginning stages of cirrhosis of the liver. He called me at home last week and personally gave me the good news that my enzymes were back to normal! Thank you, Dr. Stein!!
