Dr Azurin was thorough, understanding and continued gathering info as he chatted during the neurology exam. This worked well for my adult child as this child struggles with anxiety, and she is not very good at communication.

Wow I am surprised at some of these reviews. I have found Dr. Azurin to be open to listening. He does not try to push anymore medications on you then are necessary. He takes whatever time is needed with you. I have never waited in the waiting room for more than 10-15 minutes...usually less.

I am in shock reading the reviews of Dr azurin. I have been seeing him for treatment and management of migraines for years. He is intelligent, thorough, and easy to converse with. He always has options, that are best for my specific conditions he listens carefully to any questions I have. I will not hesitate to refer someone to him.

I am privileged in having Dr. Azurin on my side as my Neurologist. When Dr. Dunn retired I was not certain what I was going to do or who I was going to see. I had been going to Dr. Dunn for three years prior and was very comfortable with him, his office and his professionalism. Dr. Dunn assured me that he would get Dr. Azurin up to date with my condition. Still a little leary I approved. Three months later I met Dr. Azurin for the first time. Not only was he up to date with my condition, he also had a new approach to helping me out as well. He ordered new test, while still continuing with what Dr. Dunn had set up for me. As far as his concern and compassion, he made me feel like a long lost friend and and new my chart better than I did myself. I am still seeing him every three months, and look forward to his visits. Thank you both Dr. Dunn and now Dr. Azurin the transition was FLAWLESS!!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Azurin, and I found him to be easy to talk with, and very knowledgeable about my lumbar spinal stenosis treatment. I was treated with respect and I am very comfortable with his judgment, and left this visit with complete trust. I highly recommend him.

I had six to eight headaches a month before coming to Dr. Azurin. He prescribed two amitriptylene pills nightly that solved my problems! The relief from headaches has made me more productive, less sleepy and got me off the rebound effects of taking so many Excedrins! He listened to my history, also found my carpal tunnel issues, and tests my reflexes. I cannot say enough about the importance of not being rushed through an appointment, being listened to, and getting a full patient health history. Dr. Azurin listens carefully, asks probing questions, and understands the importance of the quality of health and life for his patients. He never made me feel uncomfortable or unimportant. It was very easy to schedule an appointment with him, being a first time patient! The wait time was about 5 minutes any time that I've seen him which is very good. He spent a good amount of time with me discussing what was wrong, making sure I understood everything he was saying and he did the appropriate tests in order to figure out what was wrong. He seemed to have a genuine sense of care for patients judging by the time he spent and the way he would answer any question I had. He made sure that I left satisfied and did every test possible to rule out anything bad. Also the follow up after the visit was also great, he is very caring and kind overall. Great doctor!

We were in and out within an 1 hour. Dr. Azurin spent about 20-25 minutes in the room with us discussing my husband's problems. He made sure we understood everything he told us. His diagnosis was correct. Great doctor!

I saw Dr.Azurin for an rare type of headache which he diagnosed correctly and gave me an appropriate med for. His intuitiveness told him an MRI would be advisable. Two days and 2 MRIs later I met with him again and an appointment was set up with a neurovascular surgeon to determine what to about a brain aneurysm. his follow through certainly made a difference in my life.
