Flu season is back so of course I got sick. Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle. It was the closest, same - day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right away. Once I arrived, all I had to is just checking in with my receptionist and I am able to see my doctor right away. Dr. Barnes has a manner that is filled with both confidence and compassion. She takes the time to explain everything, and will not leave until she is confident all my questions are answered and I feel good at the next steps in my treatment. I was hospitalized last year for about 2 months, and she took time out of her busy schedule to stop by my room and check up on me several times a week! I've never had another doctor take that kind of time and effort even when she was not my doctor of record!
