Already I see a HUGE difference in the level of communication, efficiency, pro-activity, collaboration..
I don't know if Sharp just works a lot harder at helping patients feel safe and heard, or what they're doing right compared to other institutions, but when dealing with cancer, it is such a massive relief and a huge help to feel like people care.
My experience in two days with this office is 1000 times better than other places. At other institutions, I did 98% of the work and needed to follow-up continuously, often getting erroneous information.
Amy has called me personally, including last evening at 6:30 pm to inform me that they will be handling much of what I had to manage elsewhere. She also pro-actively got me an appointment far sooner due to the cancer. She is kind, upbeat, thorough and follows through.
What an absolute gem!!
