I and extremely fond of Dr. Moench. I have been to four psychiatrists over the past seven years (since I move somewhat frequently) and Moench is the BEST psychiatrist I have ever had. I wrote a review of him back in 2012 on some site ( I am surprised it was not this one). The reason I even looked him up today is because I am having to find a new psych where I just moved to and I cannot find one that even compares to him and it made me nostalgic for when doctors actually show that they care about you. He treated me for about 1.5 years and helped me deal with my depression, anxiety, and ADD. The medication management he provided me with was the only psychiatrist who has ever made me feel stable. All other psychiatrists will only address one of my mental health problems and pretty much say "Good luck with the rest of your issues!" In addition to this, when my partner and I broke up because he moved, Dr. Moench took extra time to talk to me and not just write out scrips and send me on my way (like most psychiatrists do). Whenever something difficult was happening in my life, he took extra time to talk to me without even charging more just because he knew I needed extra support. Furthermore, he helped me to acquire an emotional support animal to help with my crippling anxiety. When I moved away from Salt Lake City, I left him a handwritten thank you letter expressing my gratitude for helping to improve my life and really helping put my life back together. He is one of the nicest, caring, and knowledgeable psychiatrists I have ever had and just an all around great guy. I never felt judged by him (I am gay and that does not fly to well in Utah especially with many Mormons...which I think he may be) and he showed great empathy to me and always asked about how things were with my partner. I almost want to move back to SLC just so that I can be his patient again. Any other pysch I have been to has made me feel like crap and has not helped me. This psych is the best one you could ever go to. He deserves an A+
