I agree 100% with Cj Tanenbaum on his review. I had a similar case. I got seven stitches on my thumb that I got at the ER. The next day I had a consultation with Dr. Hashime, and five days later, I had my surgery done successfully. I had about six appointments after that with Doctor Hashime. He was very detailed and encouraging on each visit. It has been ten weeks now my thumb is healing miraculously. At the reception, I was always greeted by a big friendly smile by Khalil. Without hesitation I will definitely recommend Nerve Bone & Joint Institutes

I first met Dr. Hashemi after I got a hand injury while working. At first it appeared that the injury was not that bad, and the 4 stitches I got at the ER plus some rest should do the trick. But my hand was not healing properly. I looked up different hand specialists in the area. I wanted only the best. As a carpenter, new Father, and Musician it is very important to my livelihood to have my dominant hand back. I didn’t believe the x ray I received at the ER would show the true damage of what had happened, and I was correct. I came across Dr. Hashemi online, and as a person who comes from a medical family, I was very impressed by his credentials and qualifications. Dr. Hashemi was able to properly diagnose the injury as a Sagittal tear that wouldn’t heal properly on its own. and required surgery. I never had surgery before, and was nervous about this, but Dr. Hashemi was able to put my mind at ease by explaining the process. He was very detailed oriented, answered every question with in depth, and defined every term I didn’t know. He really took the time to make sure I understood, and was comfortable before moving forward. Ive had the surgery and am still in the recovery process. However, I’m feeling good, and confident in the future of my healing progress. I will be back to Building things, playing music, and being able to give my daughter the attention she requires and deserves. All thanks to Dr. Hashemi. Before initially booking my appointment with Dr Hashemi, I checked out the reviews online. Some not so great. However, those were the ones that drew me in. I saw a lot of complaints about the Dr. Being late, and a tad braggadocios. This put me under the assumption that He took his time with his patients, and was confident with his experience. I was correct again! To me Those are more desirable traits in a doctor versus just going for quantity over quality, Dr. Hashemi is Definitely quality, and I would happily recommend him to my friends, family, and anyone looking for a professional. It doesn’t end with Dr. Hashemi however. The front of the house is remarkable. Specifically Khalil. Ive always been greeted with a warm atmosphere, and sincere smile. They remember your name, and make you feel like an individual rather than just another client. 10/10 would recommend.

The extremely competent Dr. Hashemi reminds me a bit of Dr. House on that medical drama series that ran in the early 2000s. He’s genuinely curious about the entire person and seems to enjoy —and excel at — figuring out how one obvious problem is tied to many others. That can’t be an easy task with the complex, wily nervous system! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Heshemi for over four years now. We’ve gone through five surgeries together. At every step, he was gently and thoroughly inquisitive about my symptoms and made crucial connections that have sent me on a solid path to healing. Further, I had to relocate just as we were getting started with the diagnosis. Dr. Hashemi was so accommodating in continuing my treatment , even though I had moved out of state. Although I am aware that Dr. Hashemi is a very sought-after surgeon, I always felt like I got his full attention – during consultations and obviously during my successful surgeries! I consider Dr. Hashemi a crucial partner in my treatment and recovery going forward.

Got hurt in February of 22 and it was nothing like I ever expected.i was referred to Dr hashemi who was highly recommended, he performed 3 surgery on me .am all good now and back to work....he's good at what he does and I hope no one get a hand injury but if you do it's a must to see him trust me and you will thank me later

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Hashemi is a very caring surgeon who takes the time to listen to what clients have to say and involves them with their plan of care. My daughter is an athlete and has suffered with chronic pain issues for more than 3 years. She was evaluated by MULTIPLE specialists (including pain management and several orthopedic providers) and not one professional could decipher what the true cause of her pain was. We consulted with Dr. Hashemi who diagnosed her with sciatic nerve entrapment and the surgery he performed released her nerve and her debilitating pain is now gone. She is a new person thanks to him!! Kudos to his office staff and surgical scheduler as well. Everyone was so accommodating!

Dr Hashemi and his staff run an amazing facility and I could not have asked for a better experience pre, and post surgery! Keep up the good work of making us well.... I would love to give 100 stars, but I am stuck with only 5 :)

Dr. Hashemi and every employee at the Nerve Bone and Joint Institute are true professionals. I came from Oregon to Washington D.C. for a surgery that I felt strongly about, as well as Dr. Hashemi’s abilities and his empathy and dedication to my case at every step of the way. He even called me personally when I had fears or questions. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Hashemi for an all around seamless process. If only all physicians were this dedicated to their patients.

The Doctors Bright spirit and smile made me feel so comfortable. Other than being an amazing surgeon and saving my finger about five years ago. His auroa lights up the room and made me feel much better about everything. My ex-wife didn't show up to the surgeries and the doctor made me feel ok and talked me thrpugh the whole ordeal. I wish I could give ten stars. His assistants are all just as good! Thank you!!

I would like to start off by saying if it wasn’t for Dr.Hashemi I would not be in the place where I am today. Dr. Hashemi is a very well knowledgeable individual, cares about his patients, listens, always goes above and beyond to make sure the correct and most effective medical treatment it is given and performed. Personally, as a young 20 year old with many underlying medical issues Dr.Hashemi has always taken everything into consideration and not many doctors do. With all my issues doctors have denied me treatment left and right, but Dr.Hashemi has never. When meeting with him he always takes his time and never rushes conversations with you to make sure you thoroughly understand next steps and are comfortable with how you should be treated. Whenever I have had and issue or needed relatively quick medical attention he always gets in contact quickly and if needed will always squeeze you into the schedule. Having been to many and many of doctors in my life, Dr.Hashemi is the number one doctor that I would recommend and encourage anybody to go to if your medical needs fall under his specialties. I can honestly say that all final treatments he has done on my injured areas have left me with great success.
