Ovation Eye Institute

This place is great. Everyone is friendly and very professional and high tech. Get there a little early for registration because if your appointment is at 11:30 you will be seen at that time. It has been a long time since I have been to a doctor who cares about his patients. Dr. Burris not only checks your eyes but explains every step of the process.

When I lived in Navy Yard I could walk here. Now from upper NW, the drive is worth the service and expertise.

Best care Ive ever received!! I love the fact that I walk in to a clean, never crowded environment. I also love that my care is explained in a way i understand it. The glasses options are very fashionable. Most important to me is that my eyes are being taking care of by a african american ophthalmologist!!!! Can we say WINNING!!!!!! I love seeing my people in this field because it gives me comfort. Extra bonus none of these men that work here are hard on the eyes! So thank you to the team at Ovation!

I am so thankful Dr. Burris and the rest of the team at Ovation. I woke up early one morning without sight in my left eye and left a panicked voicemail at the office. Dr. Burris called me back 15 minutes later and opened the office early to fit me into the schedule. My eyesight is returning, and I feel blessed to have received such great care. The office went above and beyond to work with me while my insurance switched over due to a job change in the middle of everything else. I will be a patient for years to come. We are lucky to have such a wonderful Ophthalmologist here the Navy Yard.
