I cannot say enough good things about Rizza Miro. My high school age daughter has been working with Holly for 2.5 years. She actually looks forward to her weekly meetings and we recognize a noticeable improvement in our daughter's speech. In addition, they are flexible and willing to work with our daughter's hectic high school and sometimes unpredictable schedule.

We have had the best experience at Rizza. My son has been working with occupational therapists his whole life. He is 8 yo and still has OT at school but I knew we needed more to help him get stronger and feel more comfortable in his body.He has some sensory issues that make it hard for him to focus and he needs to strethen his core and body. From my first phone call to Rizza I felt like they could help. We have been working with Miss Kelly and she is AMAZING! He has come so far in only about 6 months. I can tell the work that they are doing really makes a difference.she gives us tools and strategies to use at home as well. He loves to go so that alone makes it so much easier to help him. Miss Kelly is really a special person. She really knows the best ways to help him and goes out of her way to make things fun for him. Her upbeat personality just makes him want to do a good job and try his best. I would recommend Rizza Miro to anyone who wants to help their child. We have been on this journey for a long time and i honestly think this is making the difference we needed and wanted for him.

We contacted Rizza's office after our 7 year old son was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. He does Speech, OT, and a Social Skills group weekly. We’ve seen a major transformation in his conversation and peer social skills. He used to talk only about his favorite topics on and on without showing interest in others, but now he shows genuine interest and proactively asks questions to learn more about his peers. He’s also growing skills with taking turns, playing with others, sharing, handling losing and disappointment. He used to speak negatively about himself “It’s my fault” and “I always do bad things” and that has completely stopped. He’s more confident and comfortable with himself. He’s also improved with identifying and regulating his emotions with the OT. Even better, he can identify emotions in others and react appropriately, which allows him to connect with them. Rizza and her staff are very gentle and thorough with making sure the parents understand the outcome of the sessions and she makes sure to keep scheduling a priority so the therapy is consistent. She and her staff answer all our questions and keep in touch via email and text with updates and appointment reminders. We’re so grateful to Rizza and her staff.

Rizza has been invaluable in our journey for our child's treatment. She is caring, flexible, and provides support that is beyond her job description. Her staff is professional, friendly and quick to respond. Her practice is top notch!

This is a wonderful place. We’ve been going to this facility for more than a year now. I have two amazing autistic kids but during pandemic, we did not have an official diagnosis for my oldest, but the nurse practitioner from Neurobilities recommended Rizza Miro and associates and I am beyond grateful. Everybody is approachable, they communicate any changes and flexible with schedule. My oldest started last year, she receives occupational therapy and speech therapy once per week, the therapists met where she was, very neurodiversity affirming approach. We have observed a significant change in her behavior, longer attention and tolerance and so many other positive things. It’s not a walk in the park kind of transition, it was challenging but you’re not alone. They will give you updates and suggestions. We decided to start my second child earlier this year and she too made so much progress, best decision we’ve made. Obviously, it’s a highly recommended haven. ❤️

We have had a wonderful experience with Rizza Miro & Associates. This practice was recommended by a friend and an absolute game-changer for our family. We decided to pursue speech therapy for our 2 yr old son who was also receiving virtual speech services through Early Intervention. From the moment I reached out to request information, I was immediately impressed with the professionalism and warmth of everyone on Rizza's team (front desk staff Ms Angie, billing team/Christa, Ms. Jenn SLP, and Rizza herself). They were kind and reassuring, but also made other important tasks easy like scheduling and billing. We decided to have our older daughter assessed as well and continue to be impressed with the services. Of note, Rizza's team has worked directly with the speech therapist at our public school so that all of the speech therapy is coordinated. Our SLP, Ms. Jenn is amazing and our children look forward to going to speech every week, which is truly a gift. Highly recommended.

I'm so grateful that we found Rizza Miro & Associates back in 2018 when my son first began speech therapy. Since then he's had three wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring speech therapists. Ms. Jul, Ms. Teresa, and Ms. Sam have been integral in his growth in speech and language. Everyone in the office is friendly and readily answers any questions we may have. Highly recommend Rizza and her team!

Rizza is truly one of the best speech and language professionals in the area (or anywhere). I have worked with her both professionally and personally. She is as fantastic with young children as she is with teenagers. Rizza works with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with varying language disorders, anxiety, ADHD and even typical middle school/high school socialization difficulties. Over the years, Rizza has worked with both of my children on issues ranging from social anxiety to friendship building to increasing confidence in social situations. I think she has a magic wand up her sleeve because the young man I dropped at college a few weeks ago is not the same little boy who was scared to meet new people. He walked into his dorm ready to jump right in and that is certainly due to the work he did with Rizza. Professionally, I am a school social worker in a local elementary school and Rizza’s work with my students on the autism spectrum has been nothing short of awe inspiring. Every student needs a Rizza in their corner!

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Rizza Miro and Associates. From the front desk staff to the clinicians, their warmth, care and professionalism is always consistent. Both of my kids are clients there. Rizza works with my daughter for speech therapy and Natalie works with my son for speech therapy. My son also receives OT services through Maddie there. We have seen great results and are so happy with my kids’ progress. Not only do these therapists do great work one on one, but they also provide fun and easy tools to use at home. I highly recommend Rizza Miro and Associates, they are an amazing group of committed professionals!
