I have been taking my kids to Dr. Mallard for over twenty one years. I have never had a bad experience and my kids love him. True Story: When my daughter was two (yes two) years old, we were waiting for Dr. Mallard to come in the exam room and she was so excited to see him that she poked her head out of the door and started calling for Dr. Mallard and asking where he was. “Doctour Maaalward where are you?” I love how he talks to his little patients as if they are adults, even on their first well visit, knowing that they couldn’t understand. Or did they? As a new parent I would call if my child sneezed to talk to the nurse and even though I was, they never made me feel silly. I always got a call back within an hour even if it was after office hours. The waiting area is clean and there are a separate waiting areas for well and sick children. The staff is always polite and professional. Yes there have been a few times that I have waited longer than expected, however he is a doctor and sometimes they have emergencies where they need to treat a child immediately. I appreciate that and find comfort that if my child came in with something serious that required immediate attention, I won’t be asked to take a number. My oldest has two babies and they see Dr. Mallard. His two year old also loves Doctor Mallard and I’m sure the baby will too when she is two.
