Not sure what happened to others with Dr Sam but I thought he was a pretty decent guy and seemed very professional, I’m not sure what some are looking for in a doctor but I appreciate someone that tells me like it is, if I need to lose a few lbs to be healthier then that’s his job to be up front and tell me...not just give me a prescription and say see ya in 6 months.

I would say that Dr. Sam is one of the better doctors that I have been able to work with. He is both polite and concerning. If there is one person that will fight to find out what is going on, he would be the one to go and see. He will listen to what you have to say, then he will come up with possible treatments to aid the patient. So in short he is a doctor you can trust and learn to respect despite his age.

I was 1 minute late 1 time litterly. My visit was cancelled. I got a call 2 hours later stating he is no longer my DR!

I was litterly 1 minute past my appointment window just 1 time. Two hours later I get a call saying he will no longer be my DR.

Unfortunately, unlike his father, Dr. Sam Shaver has all the people skills of Ebenezer Scrooge. He's arrogant and dismissive. If you question anything he says, he responds with, "I'm not gonna argue with you." I'd so hoped for continuity from father to son but, unfortunately, the apple fell a country mile from the tree.

Dr. Shaver is one of the worst doctors my family has ever had. He lacks compassion and caring for a person. He judges a person from the first visit. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Giving him one star is too much.

As a family member of someone with addiction issues I have to say Sam Shaver helped my family member by providing them with narcotics and furthering their addiction. Every time he would see Sam Shaver he would detox from the narcotics prescriptions and just lead to further problems for my family member. If you want codeine or Tramadol go to him but if you have you are a recovering addict or have a loved one who is stay away.
