Thrive Pediatric Therapy

My son has been in speech therapy since 18 months old. When he aged out of EI at 3 we started private at a facility and for the last 2 years he’d been with Ms Hannah. He’s 6 now, he’s no longer delayed but has a grammar and language disorder and works with Hannah on how to properly fine tune the skills needed to improve the areas where he’s still behind. I love Ms Hannah, she’s so good with kids, especially those who need additional emotional assistance like my boy. I can’t recommend her more and over 5 years I’ve seen my fair share of SLPs!

My son has been seeing Miss Hannah since he was 2 years old. She has been with him from no words or sounds to short sentences and he continues to grow his communication with his words thanks to Miss. Hannah! Thrive is quiet,clean and inviting. We love our weekly visits!

Ms. Jackie worked with my daughter from 1yr to about 18mo. The changes we saw were huge. Not only did she teach my daughter but she helped us to understand how we could work with her at home. I would recommend her and Thrive Speech to anyone looking for help for their children!

Thrive Pediatric Therapy did an amazing job with my son. We had the pleasure of working directly with the owner Amanda. She was so nice and perfect for our little guy. She was open and transparent about the services and how we would proceed. The office is warm and inviting and was a great atmosphere for my son.We loved that we could sit in on the sessions and use what we learned as parents at home. My son accomplished so much while being in Thrives care!

Thrive pediatric therapy and Ms. Amanda are awesome! Within 5 months my son learned so much. All of the sessions are done through play and parents can sit in on the sessions. We all learned so much about toddler speech and my son is thriving. The new facility is beautiful with lots of parking. They help figure out insurance and what is covered which is a huge plus!

Thrive Pediatric Speech Therapy has been the best speech therapy company we have ever encountered. Ms. Amanda and Ms. Jackie have been a true blessing in my son’s life! We have never seen our five year old gain so much confidence in his speech and ability to communicate whether it’s through ASL, approximation or utilizing an AAC device. Ms. Jackie has opened so many doors for our son by utilizing total communication techniques. Ms. Jackie communicates with his school speech therapist to ensure everyone is in the same page which is something we really appreciate. We are so grateful for Thrive Pediatric Speech Therapy.

I was connected to local mom group on FB and when I was inquiring about concerns with speech for my son Amanda told me about Thrive Pediatric Therapy. My son had a very unique speech type called Gestalt Language Processing and processed his language in phrases. Amanda educated me about this type of language processing because I had no ideas about it! Overtime as my son worked with his therapist Ms. Jackie, I noticed a significant improvement with his speech. I remember when he could not say Ms. Jackie’s name now he asks for all the time. I can’t get my son to stop talking now 😂. You guys created a space for him to feel comfortable opening up and using his words. Although my son’s chapter has come to end withThrive Pediatric Therapy, I hope it now creates room for the next mama to use their services. Highly recommended!!!

I couldn’t be happier with the speech therapy my daughter, Maeve, has been receiving at this practice! Maeve was born 10 weeks premature and her only persisting developmental delay at 20 months was speech. Thrive Pediatric Therapy was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I traveled the extra mile to this practice! Maeve has been seeing Ms. Amanda since December and I’ve seen such a tremendous improvement in only 4 months! Ms. Amanda’s play-based therapy approach begins in a large but cozy room with a few toys that gives independent choice without being too overwhelming or overstimulating. It didn’t take long at all for Maeve to open up by playing like she would at home. The entire room becomes her space for creative play and interaction; oftentimes forgets I’m even in the room - she has so much fun! Plus, I have the option of being directly involved on the floor with Maeve or observing in the background. I never have any reservations asking for tips on what I can do at home either! Maeve’s hard work with Amanda truly blossoms the most at home and I can really see her little wheels in her mind turning as she expresses the sounds/words she’s been working on in therapy. Amanda provided us with excellent advice and resources for reinforcing the signs and sounds Maeve has been practicing weekly during her sessions. While Amanda’s expertise and passion promote her speech development, guide us in the right direction, and reassure our concerns with any “speed-bumps” (like those inevitable regression periods), we wouldn’t see the progress we are seeing without mom and dad integrating Maeve’s in-office therapy session at home every day. While Maeve has come so far in her speech therapy journey, we aren’t done yet! Every week, Maeve gets so excited to get in the car to drive to see Ms. Amanda. Maeve has even had the joy of interacting with the other speech therapists at the practice as well! Ms. Jackie and Ms. Hannah always greet Maeve with a big smile and a wave, and they even know and say her name when she walks through the door! They don’t even directly work with my daughter, but they make it a point to make the entire practice so welcoming for all of the kiddos! Oftentimes, other kiddos will be in the waiting room and as soon as Hannah or Jackie come out the same joy and excitement flashes on their face as they run over to begin their sessions. I have yet to come across any other families that react any differently! Last thing I want to note is how convenient the parking is at this office. The building is tucked away in a back section of a few connected buildings so the parking lot is not busy and it’s hidden from the main road. The parking spots have a large canopy of solar panels (I think) providing shade and rain coverage. Then its just a few quick steps to the main entrance!
