This place has improved from prior years! Before you would hear office managers talking about patients eating their breakfast while working and just being rude and obnoxious. For about a year now everything has made a complete 360! Wait times are no longer 45min to an hour. They are 15 min at the longest and 5 min at the least. Phones are now being answered and taking care of people who need to reach the Dr's. I haven't met anybody in there that are mean or awful except the receptionists that are all gone now! JUST WANTED TO SAY GOOD JOB GUYS WE APPRECIATE ALL.THE IMPROVEMENTS THAT WERE MADE AND STILL BEING MADE TO MAKE IT EASIER ON THE PATIENTS. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANY OTHER PLACE BUT THIS ONE. IF YPUR READING THIS AND LOOKING FOR A FACILITY BECAUSE YOU ARE STRUGGLING I RECOMMEND THIS ONE. TELL THEM REBECCA ROMERO SENT YA I PROMISE YPU WILL NOT REGRET IT. THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH AND SOME HAVE EVEN STRUGGLED WITH THEIR OWN DEMONS SO NO JUDGEMENT AT ALL WILL BE GIVEN. THEY KNOW AND UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH! ITS UP TO YOU TO MAKE THE CALL, ITS UP TO YOU TO MAKE THE CHANGE, AND ITS UP TO YOU TO FIGHT FOR A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. GOOD LUCK!!

for all who think twice. Don’t this is the place , to be honest...it gives you the feeling of having AAA SHOW UP when the tires are flat. Medicine is practiced all over the world.. in Recovery..i dont use the word addiction..it causes judgment before the trial even starts.

I started going to East Tennessee addiction about a month ago, great staff , awesome doctors and counselors. I have missed a couple appointments and got a call from the doctor checking up on me to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend this place

I been going to this dr office for over 2+yrs, and I gotta say the Maryville staff are very nice ,and kind.they always make you feel welcomed and they never judge you.i would definitely recommend if someone is in need for treatment, to go to East tn Addiction Specialist, I prefer the Maryville office but the one in West isn't so bad ,it's just very slow wait time.

Dr.Stalcup is the best Dr I have seen, he is very caring and understaning and helpful. I love the fact that I can do Dr Apts on the link as well. Very convenient and the staffs always nice.. I would recommend this place for anyone needing help!!!

Been here for two years absolutely love this place. All staff is nice caring and great counselors miss Kathryn is the best . I've been to countless doctors over the years n this is by far the best

You can not find a better place anywhere.They truly care about their patients and Dr Pratt goes above and beyond to make sure you are doing well.i have had very good doctors in the past but he raises the bar.

Dr. Stalcup is one of a kind. Unfortunately It is way too hard to find caring, compassionate doctors in this field of medicine but he is an example I wish others would follow. He truly care about his patients and goes above and beyond to ensure they are taken care of. I would and have recommended him to anyone I know that may be struggling with addiction issues. Recovery is a challenge, but Dr. Stalcup makes it easier by being empathetic, kind, and caring. This can mean the difference between recovery failure or recovery success.
