Always professional. Very engaging. Yea skilled gastroenterologist

I am surprised to read negative reviews here. Dr. Fakhruddin has always been very professional and personable with us. My husband has GERD and Barrett’s Esophagus and has to have his esophagus “stretched” annually. Dr . Fakhruddin remembers my husband, his profession and always comes after the procedure to discuss with me how he’s doing. We consider him THE best gastro doctor in Nashville.

Number one in my book

Was transported to Centennial over the weekend for an emergency ERCP - I guess it's becoming a "dying art" (not many physicians do them anymore)...and I ended up in the care of Dr. Fakhruddin. I couldn't have been in better hands - he was calm, thorough, kind, and took the time to answer questions/explain the procedure. It's rare to find doctors these days with a bedside manner, but Dr. F is great! I will definitely be relying on him and his expertise for any future GI issues I may encounter. His staff (ANPs and nursing) are also very personable, kind, and understanding. Highly recommended!

I'm am absolutely amazed at Dr. Fakhruddin's expertise. I have been in excruciating neck pain and swallowing issues for years due to Graft vs Host disease with no previous success from other Endo/Gi Drs. Today I awoke to no pain, such a wonderful change and to top it off his bedside manner was wonderful! Thank you Dr. Fakhruddin.

Dr. Fakhruddin is the BEST. I was referred to him several years ago by my GP and he is so good to me. Unfortunately, he has seen more of my insides than my outsides but that's how it goes! :-)

Dr. Fakhruddin is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He has an impeccable bedside manner, always remembers you and your situation, and brings a warm, calming presence. You can tell he truly cares. He's helped me tremendously and I would recommend him to anyone seeking a great GI physician.

I was very pleased with Dr. Fakhrudden. He was highly recommended by a friend who is a physician who had personally used him. The procedure was quick and painless. I did not interact with him much since I sedated, but when I did he was very nice. He called me with follow up results before weeks end. It is very disappointing that the negative reviews had nothing to do with the medical care or expertise. All related to scheduling or him being on call. and appointment changes. I was scheduled a couple months out, but they suggested I call back regularly to see if there were cancellations. I did this and got in a month sooner.

I give ease of appointment 3 stars because it is hard to get in to see him; HOWEVER, this is due to the fact that he is so danged popular! He is great! And when I say great, I've had years of gastro docs with God complexes. This man is down to earth and real. It is special to find a doctor that makes you feel like you're the only patient of his and that is understanding and extremely helpful! I feel like I'm finally, FINALLY in good hands.

I have been of patient of Dr. Fakhruddin for 16 years. I feel he is one of the best gastroenterologist that Nashville, TN has to offer. He is very through with his diagnosis, listens to his patients with an open mind, and is very compassionate.
