I've always had an issue with my stomach and heartburn, and I'm so grateful that I got to find this place. I'm truly not a believer in acupuncture, and still not sure how he fixed this. Anyway, if I follow his medication and treatment, my stomach feels so comfy. I wish he could open up an office in DC area. I'll come every week!

Dr. Thomas has an accurate treatment for everything, have been going to see him for a few years and I trust his methods because unlike prescriptions there is no side effects.

I hate to let this secret out because I don't want to have trouble getting future appointments but Thomas has changed my life in such a positive way. I went in for back pain, thinking it was related to golf, and learned my pain was related to what I was eating. Have learned so much and feel so much better. Insurance ought to cover because Thomas Acupuncture has alleviated any need for specialists.

Dr. Thomas is a true healer. I have spent my adult years (age: 30) spending tens of thousands of dollars on holistic approaches to medicine when doctors would fail me. I was told I was healthy by every primary care and specialist until I was able to hone in on my thyroid IE adrenal glands being the culprit of my problems. Symptoms included: 40 pound weight gain in 3 years without changing diet, extreme exhaustion (yes, I got a sleep study test done that rule idiopathic hypersomnia), sick every other month with a sinus infection/bronchitis/pneumonia, horrible seasonal allergies since a kid, panic attacks/stress/anxiety, TMJ, rashes, cellulite, PMS, dry skin, and brain fog. Then, it was finally a Hashimotos and IBS diagnosis at age 29. I am sensitive to prescription meds, so I refused to take a pill to cover up the problem. One day I woke up with excruciating tailbone pain, so after months of it not going away I got an X-ray that said maybe it was fractured. Well after 8 months, I finally had enough and Dr. Thomas' staff squeezed me in. August 5, 2019 changed my life. I've been religiously seeing Dr. Thomas twice a week (on week 10 about to go to once a week). Reflecting on each of the symptoms I wrote previously, Dr. Thomas completely healed my tailbone pain, I've lost two dress sizes (my stomach was that inflamed!), 10 pounds slimmer since I began, more energy, better sleep and no more IBS! I learned what foods to nourish my body with like more bacon and beef!!! More cucumber and celery. Drink less water and consume more PINK SALT. Everyone's body is different, but with a couple protein tweaks to my diet and using more salt I feel like a different person. I strongly encourage anyone who has ANY imbalance in their body whether you've gone under the knife by doctors orders to fix or not, Dr. Thomas can help! He's not just limited to acupuncture, but also lymphatic massage, fascia massage (it hurts, but works!) and manipulations. I am so grateful insurance companies are starting to understand the power of acupuncture in pain management; when I get sick his office is the first I call. If it wasn't covered by insurance I would pay out of pocket anyways. Dr. Thomas is the real deal working directly with western medicine doctors to cure cancer and other way more intense things than I've been dealing with. He will work with your doctor to turn your test results around for good, and get you off any and all costly, side effect driven pills! PS...the kicker is I wasn't suffering from "tailbone pain." All the inflammation was in my gut; think about that for all you suffering from back problems, bulging discs, etc.

I have been going to Thomas for almost 13 years I believe. I do have a few health issues but after seeing him and especially if I do what he recommends, I'm like a new person. I saw a 'not so good' review by Ted someone but I looked at his reviews and he doesn't like anyone or anything! I have been having acupuncture for most of my adult life. I think of it as maintenance and staying healthy. I go as often as I feel necessary. Thomas is the smartest, kindest and most intelligent person and healer that I know, and I definitely trust him more than my MD. He even treated me for shingles once before they broke out terribly but then they never did. For that Ted guy to say he is overpriced....what is your health worth to you? I could never find fault with Thomas or his staff! If you are ill, he is a magician!! But you must be dedicated. If not, you may as well keep eating everything that is harmful to you and continue treating your body poorly, but you probably never will get to the root cause of your illness and get well! Go and see Thomas!

I have been going to Thomas Acupuncture & Wellness for years for pain relief and maintenance. And it's always a pleasant experience every single time I go. Thomas is very nice, friendly and compassionate and it's very good to see that he cares a lot about my wellness. It's not always like that in other places - most of them are very distant and kind of impersonal. But never with Thomas! He makes helpful recommendations to make sure I get well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, as well. Calling to make appointments is fuss-free. I have recommended Thomas Acupuncture to 2 of my friends who are very happy also with their experience with them. I highly recommend Thomas Acupuncture to everyone!

I have to admit, I was very skeptical at first!! After my first two appointments, I felt like a new person. I’ve been coming for three weeks and have lots eight pounds so far. Also, I have been having headache problems for about six years and these sessions have helped the pain and intensity of my headaches go down immensely. 10/10 recommend going!! You will not be disappointed.

As a consumer of a wide variety of non-traditional, alternative healing practices, I find Dr. Thomas’ combination of eastern and western techniques extremely effective. He is a highly knowledgeable and skilled practitioner. To achieve the highest results, which he explains carefully and clearly, he frequently takes extra time with patients to go over all aspects of the treatment plan. By doing this, he makes the patient truly feel like a partner in and an advocate for their own continued health improvements.

At 29 years old (3 years ago) I found myself on long term disability because of migraines. Many doctors and medications later, my mom heard of Dr Thomas and I hesitated to go because I had tried other acupuncture with ok results but not enough. I felt relief in my very first visit. I followed his protocol and within a few months I was off my medications AND back at work full time. He saved my life. I still see him regularly for maintenance and continue to get stronger every day. I highly recommend giving him a chance with whatever your issue is.
