Best care Ive ever received!! I love the fact that I walk in to a clean, never crowded environment. I also love that my care is explained in a way i understand it. The glasses options are very fashionable. Most important to me is that my eyes are being taking care of by a african american ophthalmologist!!!! Can we say WINNING!!!!!! I love seeing my people in this field because it gives me comfort. Extra bonus none of these men that work here are hard on the eyes! So thank you to the team at Ovation!

I am so thankful Dr. Burris and the rest of the team at Ovation. I woke up early one morning without sight in my left eye and left a panicked voicemail at the office. Dr. Burris called me back 15 minutes later and opened the office early to fit me into the schedule. My eyesight is returning, and I feel blessed to have received such great care. The office went above and beyond to work with me while my insurance switched over due to a job change in the middle of everything else. I will be a patient for years to come. We are lucky to have such a wonderful Ophthalmologist here the Navy Yard.

OMG! I found the best eye doctor in the DMV! Dr. Burris is absolutely amazing and professional. He is very through, explains in detail his findings and what to look out for and expect in the future. It's the level of service patients wish all their doctor's would provide but often don't receive. With Dr. Burris you are not just a statistic, but rather a human being and treated with nothing but respect, patience and caring warmth. I love that he is an African American taking care of his community. The entire staff is totally professional and provides outstanding customer service. All of glass are all stylish and to die for and you can't help but to purchase more than one. I am so glad I found this place. My eyes are in good hands at Ovation Eye Institute.
