Dr Farhan Contractor and the entire Keeps Hair Restoration Studio in NYC is the best of the best at getting your coif back on track. Miracle workers these people are. If you’re reading this review then you’re considering a hair transplant or more specifically, Follicle Unit Extraction (FUE) and the Keeps Restoration Studio. Absolutely do it. Like now, call them now. It’s your hair, it’s permanent, it’s 100% natural looking, and it’s not expensive at all. The procedure uses scifi technology you wouldn’t believe and the medical/admin staff are like the A Team of getting your hair back. Only thing you’ll regret is not knowing this place existed sooner. Seamless logistical planning by them and no post op downtime make the entire experience a breeze. Special thanks go out to Kody, John, Wrayana, and Alexis for making it all come together quickly; the good Dr for his masterful artistry; and of course Leslie Ann, Maria, Belinda, and Nael for their precision and grace reconstructing my glorious mane. I was really nervous to get this procedure. I was nervous about the results, about the procedure, and the after care. I interviewed about a dozen different doctors before I settled on Dr. Farhan and his Keeps Restoration team, and I almost didn't do it altogether. But Dr. Farhan and his genuinely amazing staff were so very warm, caring, and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions with compassion and assuaged all of my concerns. I'm now 1 week and a half post-op, and I've now asked my main point of contact only 5 million questions... a bit better than the 10 million I expected to have lol. He was not only incredibly fast to respond to each one, but he was also patient, friendly and honest. During the procedure itself, the assistants were warm and fun, and set me at complete ease. It was a genuinely wonderful experience. The level of excellence and compassionate professionalism of the entire staff was truly exceptional and unexpected. If I choose to get an additional procedure down the road, I won't hesitate for a second to choose Dr. Farhan and his staff at Keeps Hair Restoration. Well done guys, I appreciate all of you. <3

Great experience - highly recommended I've been here recently for my hair procedure. I was a bit scared the night before the surgery, but the Doctor Farhan and the whole staff immediately made me feel comfortable explaining the whole process step by step The whole procedure took me ~6 hours and it was almost painless. The only (very limited) discomfort was related to the anesthesia, but it was really a matter of seconds. The Doctor and the staff made anything possible to reduce the discomfort - again, they were great and the reason why my experience was perfect After the procedure the Doctor gave me all the necessary info and drugs necessary to speed up my recovery and he also checked on me the day after (in which I didn't have any discomfort at all) The place is great and everything is new and clean; the location is in the heart of Manhattan and easy to get to (train, car, bus) I'm looking forward to seeing some results in a few months, but I would definitively recommend the procedure to anyone interested

This place was excellent! Pre-procedure: I had my consultation with John who was super nice and was able to quote me in like 10 min! He also followed up post to make sure I was doing well, never had someone from sales follow up post sale before so that definitely deserves a shout out! 🙌 The night before they booked me a hotel across the street so I could get there easily in the morning. They paid for the hotel (or it's baked into the cost of the procedure) but either way so nice! The day of, I got there and from the moment I walked in everyone was so accommodating and kind. They gave me a run down of the whole process, what happens, and which team member was going to be responsible for which activity. Dr. Contractor was the one in charge of my procedure but every single person on the team was constantly checking in and engaging through the whole process. I am an anxious person so having everyone be very hands on and communicative made this a 10/10 for me! Everything about the experience made me (a super anxious person in clinical settings) feel taken care of and at ease. Also I turned peaky blinders on during the process and, to be honest, just choose a chill show. Not a murder-y loud, exploding show with quiet dialgue.. The post op is written very clearly and was easy to follow. Not much to say here except that post op for almost anything is tedious but worth it!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would do so without hesitating. Everything about my experience at Keeps was truly stellar, and handled with the utmost care and professionalism I could possibly ask for. Dr. Farhan Contractor and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during the entire session. There was very little pain, and it was only during the anesthesia portion of the process. I slept through most of it. I was there for about 6-7 hours. Oh yeah, they even treated us (my dad came for support) to lunch and sent us home in an Uber, class act! I slept a bunch when I arrived home. I had some minor soreness and some minimal swelling around the forehead area but it was gone in under 2 days. I am currently 4 days Post Op as I write this, and I feel great. Just a bit itchy with scabbing, but that was to be expected. John and Wreyana were additonally wonderful, constantly checking in with me up until and after the procedure answering any questions and concerns. It is evident that the people here care so much about what they do. Everything felt tailored and personal. It did wonders for my nerves to be in such a warm, friendly environment. They even let me stream Seinfeld during everything, which was the best distraction ever (haha). Had I known this would be such a pleasant experience, I would have done it a lot sooner. If you're on the fence about hair restoration, at the very least, go for a consultation. I'm so grateful that I decided to take the leap and do something like this for myself and I can't wait to see the new hairs filling in. Thanks so much guys!

I don’t have any results to show yet as my procedure was only a couple days ago. But if you’re on the fence about where to get an FUE hair transplant this is the place. From the initial consult to the actual procedure everything was smooth. I went through at least 5 other consults before keeps none of which really felt right. I’ve been a keeps customer for almost a year and had some decent results from that so when I found out they were doing transplants I was excited. and i think the fin/min got me as far as it could but i wanted more. it probably at the very least saved me some money for the transplant. the whole experience started with Kody who was very nice and professional, then an initial consult with Johnny who was wonderful. So it all started out in a positive light. When others fell short. I wasn’t nervous about the procedure because I felt everything was communicated so well ahead of time. And then everyone from Wrayana who went above and beyond on coordinating everything to Dr Contractor’s personality and want to get me what I wanted made me feel really at ease. And the rest of the care team was top notch. They communicated everything and were so friendly, I send virtual hugs to all of them! And they had good things to say about Dr Contractor, compared to others they’ve worked with, which I felt meant a lot. I felt like I got the A team with them. And everything seemed to be the best technology. The building was easy to find. The operating room was clean and comfortable. I really can’t gush any more positivity on this team or the experience. Just fantastic! The procedure was about the pain level of a tattoo but only for the application of the local anaesthesia and afterwards I haven’t felt any pain at all. If you’re going to site see in nyc at all do it before the procedure would be my only other advice. I felt super protective afterwards of the implants and kinda just wanted to get home. Thanks <3

I had a transplant done by Dr. Contractor almost a decade ago. Not only were the results fantastic initially, but they’ve lasted! He was professional, efficient, and compassionate, I would do again 100%!

I got my FUE hair restoration at Keeps in their midtown office on Feb 2022 & had a really great experience. I was nervous about the procedure initially, but Dr. Farhan and his whole team were incredibly professional in walking me through the process, while constantly checking in on my pain/comfort levels. The technicians were so nice and pleasant to make sure I was doing okay during the surgery, which took about 8 hours in total. The Keeps team even provided lunch for me and put me in a hotel room (across the street) the night before to make it easy to get to the clinic the next morning vs. having to commute from hours away. Dr. Farhan has successfully completed thousands of these transplants already for other patients across the country & while I'm still excited to see my own results, I would highly recommend anyone interested in getting a hair restoration to reach out to Keeps to schedule a consult!

Since deciding to get a hair restoration procedure, the most common thing I've heard as a response was "are you going to Turkey?" If you value your time, why would you? I happen to live just outside of NYC and went through the experience at Keeps office on 45th St in Manhattan. The process was so turn key and simple I would recommend it to anyone who has decided to get a hair transplant procedure. The staff from initial consultation to post-op follow ups were knowledgeable, professional, and removed all of the thinking from the process. The office was located just outside of Times Square, so I stayed in a hotel just across the street the night prior. After my 6:45 am arrival they took my lunch order, some before pictures and we got to it. By 12:15 I was done and on my way home. The procedure was easy, and the only pain I experienced was the temporary pain during the numbing of the two sites on my head. I did sleep a bit in the afternoon when I got home but didn't really have much discomfort even on the day of the procedure. The next morning I'd say I was a 9/10 straight out of the gate. The recovery went quicker than I expected and I'd say the hardest part was abstaining from caffeine and alcohol the week prior and week after the procedure. Dr Contractor was great as were the assistants, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Keeps Hair restoration to anyone looking to do the procedure. The additional cost and inconvenience of traveling halfway around the world doesn't make any sense to me. If you did the math and value your time at all, you won't be disappointed with Keeps.
